GullyDrop ("we," "us," or "our") operates an app for ordering daily essentials from nearby kiranas and street vendors, delivered to your address and paid in cash on delivery. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: Full name, email address, and password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication).
- Profile: An optional profile photo and the delivery address you save.
- Cart and order information: Items in your cart and the orders you place — items, quantities, prices, delivery fee, total, vendor, date, and the delivery address for that order.
- Location data: Approximate device location may be used on your device to show shops near you and estimate delivery time. It is not shared with other users.
Payments: Orders are paid in cash on delivery. We do not collect or store card, bank, or mobile-wallet details.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Create and manage your account and authenticate you securely.
- Show nearby vendors, keep your cart, place your orders, and show your order history.
- Record the delivery address for each order.
- Respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.
3. Firebase
GullyDrop uses Google Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore. Data processed by Firebase is subject to Google's Firebase Privacy Policy.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising. Your cart, orders and addresses are linked to your account and shown only to you in the app.
5. Retention and Deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account in the app or via our Account Deletion page, which lists what is removed.
6. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication. No method of transmission is 100% secure.
7. Children's Privacy
GullyDrop is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and update the date above.
